"I don't want to sit on bench and do nothing. I'm tired of long trips and tough schedule. I'm not a 20-year-old and my health is not that good, therefore I think that after this season it will be a good time to retire from the NBA." Owner Real Deal Posted March 9, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted March 9, 2011 Sucks he'll be retiring without a ring.
kingfish
He went to Miami to ring chase with Lebron, and a lot of Cleveland fans were disappointed in that. Now he probably wont get a ring, and he will have betrayed Cleveland and nobody likes him now. Sucks for you Z. ^_^

JohnWayne
He was cheered, and I will always respect big z and he will always be a Cleveland Cavalier. Miss seeing him in a Cavs uniform, and yes it does suck that he will retire without a ring
Cleveland's Finest
He'll be a part of the Cavs management soon, but this is terribly sad....always remembered him and LBJ hugging after winning the 2007 ECF (to think we would never make it closer the following THREE seasons is shocking) ....it's a shame, a damn shame this is how everything went down. Z thanked the city, whereas LBJ didn't at all, so he will always be respected and loved by us fans. Clutch
i wish he retired this season so we would be more desperate to play pittman and develop him lol

Legacy
Z also played there longer than LeBron. The only difference was that James did it on national tv because he is 10x the player Z is and he did it quietly. Similar ideas for both of them though. JYD
He should just retire now...Miami could use the roster spot.
