Flash
Hopefully nothing serious comes of it, but 8.8 is no joke. Hopefully there wasn't a ton of structural damage.

htown11
The live footage was just insane... the sense of "live" in general via video and Twitter is cringing. You see this stuff in "disaster movies" CGI etc. but it looks flat out scary when you see the real deal going on.
Smitty
Seems like its finally calming down. Thank the lord.
Owner Real Deal Posted March 11, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted March 11, 2011 Wow man...this is terrible. It's painful seeing those cars trying to drive away from the water (and people running), and they don't make it. That footage is just crazy. GamerGuy
Aftershocks are still going on, and it's been two hours since the main quake hit. Watching those series of waves wipe everything out is absolutely terrifying. Thoughts and prayers to Japan right now.

Sun Tzu
Wow. Seems like once a natural disaster has finished with one country it moves on to another. Australia had the floods followed by the cyclone which also hit other islands I believe and now Japan suffers an 8.9 magnitude earthquake. reno
Wow. thats sad. What's the status for the Cali one though?? Not sure, but I doubt anything will hit california, they just do it for percussion. I'll actually be surprised if Hawaii gets hit.

Dr. Feelgood
Oregon and Washington is also on Tsunami watch (I live in Portland Oregon and work in Vancouver Washington), so it's pretty scary shit. I doubt anything will hit the three states (OR, WA, CA) but it's still scary to think about it. Thoughts and prayers go out to those in Japan. NomarFachix
Not sure, but I doubt anything will hit california, they just do it for percussion. I'll actually be surprised if Hawaii gets hit. I think they actually do it for woodwind, but that's just me.
