Guest N/A
Pippen said Michael Jordan could average over 40 points per game in today’s game. Pippen said that whatever the highest guy in the league was, Jordan could just do more if he wanted to. He also said Jordan could score 100 points in a game today. Pippen talked about some of the “incidents” that happened with the Bulls. Some of them were portrayed as fights in practices, but Pippen maintains the word “incident.” CSN Chicago

Newman
It's not impossible. Jordan scored 37.1 PPG one year and if everyone just keep feeding him the ball, he can actually put up 40 PPG.
Make It Naaaashty
It's not impossible. Jordan scored 37.1 PPG one year and if everyone just keep feeding him the ball, he can actually put up 40 PPG.lol no, there's no way he would have the stamina to keep up at his age. Pipen is an idiot.
SRV
He is saying a 40 year old dude has the stamina to defend all these young guys, and then have the ability to score 40 point by himself every night. I think he would be lucky to play long enough in the game to get to 25 points...let alone finish the entire season playing all those minutes at 40 years old. I don't know if Pippen means current Jordan, or prime Jordan....
Dr. Feelgood
How could you guys possibly think he's talking about Jordan now. He's obviously talking about prime Jordan.

SRV
He also said Jordan could score 100 points in a game today. That can be interpreted either way.....he doesn't specify
Dr. Feelgood
He also said Jordan could score 100 points in a game today. That can be interpreted either way.....he doesn't specify Yeah, in his prime. Surely Pippen doesn't think that 48 year old Michael Jordan would be able to score 100 points in a game today. Buckets!
LOL at this. Some of these people are idiots, of course he's talking about Prime Jordan. You people make me laugh.
The Regime
Jordan today would have a tough time dropping 10-15 points a game, let alone 40 ppg or 100 points in a game. He's is pick up game shape, not NBA shape anymore. Edited March 12, 2011 by Confidence
