Its pretty evident on this board alone, and this is way below 1% of the basketball fans who talk about the Heat and enjoy to see them lose. You can't tell me that people don't enjoy to see them lose. If you care enough to want a team to lose, then people care about them. Caring doesn't mean you wish them the best, it can also mean you wish them the worst. If we didn't have that party before the season even started, they would still get crap. The party just adds to it. I also guarantee the party wasn't their idea, as much as it was the Miami Heat promoting team or whatever its called. But he's not right when he says "nobody cares about the Heat" obviously people bag on that team hard when they lose, they do care more than most. Clutch Posted March 12, 2011 Report Share Posted March 12, 2011 (edited) true, miami had a huge gathering when shaq came too, and just like lebron after seeing the crowd and gettin all hype..he too promised to bring a championship that whole "winning 5" is soooo out of proportion its not even funny...first of all they were all laughing when he was sayin it cuz they know its [expletive]in unrealisitc, but what he did clarify after that was they FEEL THEY CAN WIN MULTIPLE IF THEY DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY...and they said themselves that they didn't know it was gonna be like that, they were just told that they were gonna be presented to the fans, and it was such short notice the fact that so many fans showed up to support was a shock to everyone and it really got bigger than it was planned for, the big 3 were just put in a hyped ass situation where you got riley sitting , fans chanting beat la (which was [expletive]ing stupid btw..i was like SHUTUP lol), zo and hardaway in the crowd... but no...he said 7...and they suck...they are losing and will never win a ring wade sayin america is happier is so true and i completely agree with him, everybody i know that knows i like the heat are always braggin about how the heat suck after every loss my phone blows up with texts..im sure thats the case for A LOT of people..and dont even get me started on the people on twitter LOL ..now that is probably the best example of passionate NBA fans , you got athletes, fans of random ass teams lovin every time the heat lose charles has no idea what the fans think, he cant even use a computer to know what happens on the internet, how many mock videos people spend time makin for the heat, after every loss or every little thing that happens.. and whether they answer questions in the locker room or in the post-game...first of all wade has given similar answers for 7 years in the locker room its not like he is overreacting to every loss or game when he says "we gotta win the same way we lose" or w.e and when you got 10x the media attention its probably more comfortable situation to do a post-game press conference instead of a billion reporters in the locker room...these guys keep sayin "shutup and play" and i agree with it to some degree ..but well they are answering questions, everyone has different way to answer reporters..some are more media savy like shaq and kobe, others (like bosh or spo etc.) not so much Edited March 12, 2011 by Clutch Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
