reno
"That Miami Finals really was a tough one to swallow," Jackson said before the Lakers won 96-91 on Saturday night in Dallas. "I think Wade averaged about 25 foul shots a game. You couldn't even touch him. That was really tough to swallow and I think he understood there's kind of a pecking order in this league and you keep your mouth shut at times.'' http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nba/news/story?id=6211182

AboveLegit
That series was the worst officiated NBA Finals in league history. Games 3, 5, and 6 were the three most crucial games of that series, as well as three games that Miami either won with fourth quarter comebacks or in overtime, Wade shot a total of 64 FT's. Dallas, as a team, in those 3 games, shot a total of 74. In game 5, Wade shot as many FT's as the entire Mavs team.

The Regime
Wade drew a crazy amount of phantom calls in that series, and that's a fact. I don't give a shit how aggressive you are at attacking the rim you should never get to the line that many times, that's just absurd. magicbalala245
Just checked the box scores for all of those game's in the NBA Finals 2006 and here is Dwyane Wade's FTM-FTA @ Dallas Game 1: 6-10 @ Dallas Game 2: 11-14 Miami Game 3: 13-18 Miami Game 4: 8-9 Miami Game 5: 21-25 @ Dallas Game 6: 16-21 Add up all those FTA's Wade was averaging 16 FT's a game still a ton for one man to do that but nowhere near the 25 FT's avg mark that Phil is talking about. I think all of us just remember game 3, 5 and 6 were he took a ridiculous amount of free throws. Wade in total shot 97 free throws in the series. The whole Mavericks team throughout the series combine all 6 games shot 196 FTA's Edited March 13, 2011 by magicbalala245
Owner Popular Post Real Deal Posted March 13, 2011 Owner Popular Post Report Share Posted March 13, 2011 That was when Wade was D-Aid, D-Wheel, all of the names associated with flopping. He did change his ways, though.
