"No, because even though Thibs is annoying sometimes, we respect how much effort he puts into it," Joakim Noah said with a sly grin. And Friday night, he spoke about the last few minutes against Atlanta (when the Bulls surrendered six points in garbage time). It's just how he is. But at the same time, you leave the locker room thinking we have to do a better job next time instead of leaving thinking we're the best team in the world." "If we were losing, maybe his style could burn out players," Kurt Thomas said. "But we're winning, and the makeup of this team is serious. Tom has a high level of expectation, but he still has the same approach and philosophy that he's had since he broke into this league." Thomas' association with Thibodeau dates to their Knicks days in the late 1990s. Thomas said Thibodeau hasn't changed a bit. So did Brian Scalabrine and Keith Bogans, two other veterans who played for Thibodeau when he was an assistant. "He gives us days off, mixes it up," Bogans said. "And he knows what he's doing. He's always had that serious mindset, no b.s. approach. He's never going to change. I don't think he knows any other way to act.
