JYD Posted March 25, 2011 Report Share Posted March 25, 2011 The stupid R&B choruses and shitty beats killed L.A.S.E.R.S in my opinion.I disagree. Most of the beats are find. The choruses get a bit repetitive since MDMA has like 3 features or some shit. The hooks are definitely one of my few disappointments with the album. Wish Lupe had another track or two with just him on the song - no features...but it is what it is. He didn't do that, mostly because of the record label BS, but I like the album a lot for what he had to deal with. Will it be as classic as The Cool? Highly doubtful, pretty much no. But I still personally love it. I love how I can listen to The Cool, then Lasers, and not feel like I just listened to the same thing for 2 hours. They just have their own vibe, their own sound...very similar to what Kanye has done with his albums, they all have their distinct vibe.
