Cleveland's Finest
Also, Amare took TWENTY shots.....I think Carmelo could've shot some of those. That's where you question their ability to play together.....do they really want to be together?
Flash
I'm not ready to give up on them yet but coming into this whole thing, my concern was that while Melo and Amare are terrific players, them playing together will be tough because neither are particularly great passers. That's why Wade and LeBron have meshed well to this point because both are willing passers and have been throughout their careers. However, with the Knicks its a lot of things. Defense, Melo and Amare meshing, Billups and overall depth and not knowing how to play with each other yet. I think it can be fixed as we saw that Miami had trouble at first too. I still hope Billups is back next year. I don't think he's overrated. I don't think he's going to be the eventual problem. But since he came back for the injury, there's no denying that they have struggled offensively to find any rhythm, and I'm sorry, but a lot of blame needs to be put on him here. And in the 4th quarter specifically. Those who keep saying he's not the problem have not watched the past 7 games as closely as I have... Wade only played 2 minutes in the pre-season though and that really affected us at the start of this season.
