The Goods
The hottest Carlos Boozer tale to blip onto the radar this week: Sources say Memphis had the option of trading for Boozer instead of Zach Randolph earlier this month. Yet the Grizz decided, apparently with considerable input from coach Lionel Hollins, that Boozer would have been less than thrilled to play out the final season of his contract in Graceland, thus convincing them that Randolph -- starting over for the third time -- would be more productive. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=stein_marc&page=Chatter-090730http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=stein_marc&page=Chatter-090730
Flight
I highly doubt that, I see the mentality of that move, but if nothing else he's valuable trade bait. Considering what Memphis gave up, I don't see how they could have gotten Boozhound.
La Bomba
Not true, The Jazz wanted Richerdson plus ethier Mayo, Gay, or Gasol. Plus, Randolph isn't that much worse than Boozer at least on the offensive end. Randolph is just lazy and a cancer. Boozer is also on a one year deal.
