AboveLegit
Damn, was really pulling for Arizona tonight, oh well, at least we get to see Kemba for another game or two. This has to be one of the greatest runs in NCAA history, just amazing. I knew Kemba would hit that step back jumper, he has really perfected that move. Make It Naaaashty
What a game of runs. Williams went out and UConn went on something like a 24-7 run in the first half to have a 7 point lead. Then Arizona makes a couple runs in the 2nd half getting them back in the game and actuallty have the lead, but Lamb came up huge. Very impressive what he has done this tournament considering he's a freshman. Kemba struggled for the most part but made that big shot in clutch. Still alive in my brackets. The Regime
Jeremy Lamb was amazing. UConn is a legit team when he plays as aggressive as he did today. Also he does an excellent job anticipating passes and jumping the passing lanes.
Lkr
D Will should have attacked the rim. Once again poor coaching.the coach probably didn't tell him to settle for the shot
ChosenOne
the coach probably didn't tell him to settle for the shot Which still is bad coaching because in that situation you let to player know that he has to get to the rim.
Make It Naaaashty
If Williams had made it then it would have been a great shot. It can go both ways.

Guest N/A
Do coaches ever take the final shot in a game? No. Fail. Do coaches ever truly control what happens? No. Fail. Edited March 27, 2011 by N/A
ChosenOne
oh, I forgot you were in the huddle and knew what the coach told him lmao. Well if he told him to shoot a three that would be bad coaching since it was only a two point game. If he told him to drive and he didnt then again it would be bad coaching because he should have drilled it in to him get to the rim. Either way the coach it to blame whether it is alot or a little that really depends on the situation/play he designed. Do coaches ever truly control what happens? No. Fail. WTF? dude just shut the [expletive] up you have no idea what you are talking about, but then again what else is new.
Guru
Either way, the play that was drawn up was horrible. Why would you not get Williams the ball closer to the basket when you are only down by 2?
ChosenOne
Either way, the play that was drawn up was horrible. Why would you not get Williams the ball closer to the basket when you are only down by 2? Exactly my thought, you are down by 2 why not get him moving to the rim like you did against Texas? Why not have him set a quick screen and roll to the rim looking for the pass to him on the on the roll or attack by the guard? Like I said bad coaching. Flash
Even if the final play wasn't great, Sean Miller still got Williams an open look where he's a terrific 3-point shooter at well over 50%. Miller, IMO is a top 5-10 coach in America. What he did at Xavier and what he's done in his short time at Arizona is remarkable, especially how he inherited Arizona. UCONN kept that region perfect for me though. Thanks, Kemba & Co.
ChosenOne
Your last three posts. Did the coach take that shot? Do coaches ever truly control what happens? No. Fail. U mad? How does it feel to cry to sleep every night because not everyone agrees with you...? Dude if you have a point make it. I said the coaching was bad at the end. If you agree then say that and stfu, if you don't make your point and actually contribute to the discussion. I'm not mad, just annoyed by your lack of knowledge. About the rest I'm not going to comment because I'm not a child.

You do what has worked in the past and in the past getting Williams going towards the rim works and works real well.
