Utah has filled its head coaching vacancy by hiring New Jersey Nets assistant Larry Krystkowiak, the school's sports information director, Liz Abel, told CBSSports.com early Sunday.

Krystkowiak will be introduced at a Monday afternoon press conference, Abel said.

Krystkowiak coached Montana for two seasons from 2004 to 2006 and made the NCAA tournament both years. The 46 year old then left to be assistant with the Milwaukee Bucks and later became the head coach for parts of two seasons. He's been an assistant with the Nets since July 2010.

Congrats to Larry K. Nets now need to look for a big man coach, but at the same time, I hope there's a spot for Messina.
