reno
MEREDITH VIEIRA:Do you think given all the issues that this country is facing that this is something that resonates with the public? That they care about this? DONALD TRUMP:The Constitution of the United States…great document. And you agree with it? MEREDITH VIEIRA:Yeah, sure. DONALD TRUMP:It says you have to be born in this country. Essential. Have to be born in this country, okay? If he wasn’t born in this country, he has conned the whole world. MEREDITH VIEIRA:But you’re saying it’s a con. That’s what you’re saying. DONALD TRUMP:I’m not saying anything. I’m saying-- MEREDITH VIEIRA:Sure you are. DONALD TRUMP:I am saying I want to see the birth certificate. It’s very simple. I want to see the birth certificate. How come his own family doesn’t know which hospital he was born in? How come-- forget about birth certificates. Let’s say there’s no birth certificate. How come in the hospital itself, okay? This is one of the…in the hospital itself, there’s no records of his birth. In other words, it doesn’t say how much they paid, where is the doctor, here’s your room bill. You know, all the MEREDITH VIEIRA:You’ve been privy to all of this to know this? DONALD TRUMP:Well, I have people that actually have been studying it and they cannot believe what they’re talking. MEREDITH VIEIRA:You have people now out there searching-- I mean, in Hawaii? DONALD TRUMP:Absolutely. And they cannot believe what they’re finding. And I’m serious-- *** http://thepage.time.com/2011/04/06/trump%E2%80%99s-hawaii-investigation/

Lkr
Trump has no shot winning in 2012, hope he saves himself the embarrassment and decides not to run. The GOP isn't stupid enough to put him on the ticket either

The guy is not politically savvy at all. There is a certificate of live birth that has been produced, which is legal in the state of Hawaii. It's like when Rush wanted to buy the Rams it's intriguing and interesting but such a bad idea....he's stirring the pot and garnering attention Trump loves himself more than anyone else on this planet. Props to his success and all but President.... no thanks. I don't think anyone takes him serious when he's getting roasted by comedy central comedians and running his own reality television show, at least I don't..... EastCoastNiner
I will continue to believe he is a U.S. Citizen until I see definitive proof that he is not. I'm not saying this video proves anything, but I believe it clears up some common misconceptions. There's another video I saw that was excellent about his birth certificate as well, but I can't find it right now.
EastCoastNiner
Not to mention that Glenn Beck doesn't feel too comfortable about Trump being president. At the end of the day, Trump may just be looking for attention.
EastCoastNiner
I just watched Donald Trumps interviews with Bill O'reilly and Merideth Viera, and I think he makes some very good points, and he is stern on his views, but damn, he is one cocky SOB!

I've made my view on this situation clear, but the certificate of live birth is nothing like a birth certificate. It has no serial number or signature. Also, why did Obama spend over $2 million in legal fees in order to not have to provide a birth certificate? If there's one thing that raises a major red flag for me, that would be it. EastCoastNiner
So you are...believing he's a US citizen, or you aren't believing it? As of right now, with all of the information I have SEEN, I believe he is a U.S. Citizen. There have been a lot of bogus claims that he's not based upon fraudulent evidence, which pushes me away from believing he is not a U.S. Citizen. However, I believe it is fair to question him on spending $2 million dollars over his birth certificate. That just seems very strange to me. If someone wants to provide a reason for that, I will certainly listen to it, but that does seem odd to me.

Maybe it reads that his religion is Islam? When he's first born, he doesn't have a say...his parents do. Also, I've yet to run into a credible news site that proves he spent $2 million to protect that information.
JYD
So you are...believing he's a US citizen, or you aren't believing it?It's up for debate right now on Obama's citzenship.... The jury's still out IMO. You do have to look at his fishy background... He is half black, which means he's probably a criminal based on all the statistics we have. Also, he's probably muslim, which means the potential that he is a terrorist is very very high, based on his funny middle and last name. U.S. Citizen? I guess I'll believe it for now...we'll just have to wait and see until Fox News fabricates anything else. To start off, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck both believe he is a U.S. citizen, and they are two of the biggest ratings guys for Fox. So, what are you basing your claims off of. Are you basing them off of what MSNBC is telling you, or trying to get at something that isn't there? I watch CNN far more than I watch Fox News, but I refuse to watch the garbage that MSNBC is. People try and say that Fox is biased, but MSNBC is honestly ten times worse

People try and say that Fox is biased, but MSNBC is honestly ten times worseNah, I'm just joking around with my previous post. I was just playing with all that because I found the thread just funny in general. It went to being about Trump to being about Obama's citzenship. Not going to get into a huge debate over the Networks. But it's pretty obvious both are biased, although I'll admit, I do not think I've ever watched MSNBC. For news on TV, I watch CNN, Fox News, and The Daily Show...but News on TV is rare for me, generally read the NY Times each day, Star Ledger sometimes on weekends, and cnn.com usually as well during the week.
