Dash
Heading to free agency, 6-11 Clippers center DeAndre Jordan said he grew up dreaming of playing for the Rockets. But he has not thought about it much since. "When you're young, you always think about playing for your home team," said Jordan, 22, who will be a restricted free agent. "Right now, I'm trying not to think about it much. "I'm trying to get better and finish the season on a positive note. When that time comes, we'll deal with the process. "I'm going to enjoy it and try to find the right fit for me. I'm really excited about the whole situation. I dreamed about playing for the Rockets when I was young. I could have been here. "They had a chance to draft me but chose otherwise. We'll see." Jordan was a second-round pick out of Texas A&M in the 2008 NBA draft. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7515131.html Granted a teenagers dream to play for a certain team doesn't mean much now, the hometown effect could give the Rockets an edge over other bidders. Dash
Offer that bastard the entire MLE. Young shotblocking bigs with potential like Jordan have a going rate of more than just the MLE especially when you consider the fact that he's restricted and the Clippers likely won't let go easily. Dash
Do Whatever It Takes It might take renouncing Chuck Hayes and Yao's rights to have a shot at him. That is assuming if the Rockets can't find another way to generate cap space because the cap holds those two players have is too much ($18 million for Yao and $3.9 for Chuck). htown11
Hope they can work something out because he would be a great addition IMO, he's still raw but has shown strides and that athleticism and vertical Rockets need a guy who can protect the paint so bad. Would hate to see Chuck go anywhere but this team has to get bigger.

*Swish*
If I'm not mistaking, the guy is a free agent this summer! If the Rockets manage to get him, they could be very dangerous. Just throw an alley oop anywhere near the rim, he'll get it

I hope we can manage to get him some how, he would fit in well for us. Edited April 12, 2011 by ChosenOne

DaFranchise03
Rockets gonna have to offer close to 10 mil and i would be all for it. Centers dont come cheap. If the team is stupid enough to offer 5 mil to Brad they have to offer twice that for a real center.
