And it's not that I even care what the names are, I just want the media and fans to S-T-F-U about the topic already. Only problem is once the list happens, you know the uneducated public will look at it and crucify those 103 or 104 players and assume they are the only ones to have ever cheated the game. Cheating and specifically steroid use has been going on since way before 2003 and there is obviously no way of ever knowing who cheated and who didn't. The guys who did it all rose to prominence during this era so I'm not shocked at all. Manny is still one of the best right handed hitters of all time in my book though. You're telling me that almost EVERY play that used steroids had a good career? No, that is just not true, and there are definitely players that have used them that have sucked, and there aren't enough "fringe" players on this list....... Anonymous testing, why should the MLB stab the players' union in the back to give the public some information that the players were promised would be private? And like Nomar said before, some people said, "Put my name on the steroid list," just so there'd be steroid testing in baseball. If 5% of players used steroids in baseball, there'd be testing so some clean players may have put their name on the list just so they could be playing a cleaner game.
