Check my Stats
Moving Bargnani is not a core strategy, according the NBA sources; but it's been discussed and there's a sense that Bargnani's potential and his pay cheque would have other teams on the phone in significant numbers. "There are 29 other teams out there who think they could help them," said one source. Which is why the most important move Bryan Colangelo – or whoever ends up running the Raptors for whatever ownership group is in place – can make is trade the player he drafted as a bigger, more athletic Dirk Nowitzki. But if the Raptors bring him back Bargnani would no longer be the person to blame for his status as one of the league’s official enigmas; a tease of a talent unable to harness it. If he comes back the fault would lie with the person – whoever that might be -- who didn’t turn him into assets that will be able to help what will be infant core again next year. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/first-up/bargnani-the-door-is-to-your-left/article1985621/
Flash
Gotta move him. I just don't see where he fits in for them down the line. I'm sure you can get some value back for him.
andre smoothwhite
Ship him, he dont try hard enough, he should have completely taken over when Bosh left. He was suppose to be a franchise playa..
Built Ford Tough
Ship him, he dont try hard enough, he should have completely taken over when Bosh left. He was suppose to be a franchise playa.. I think the only two people in the entire world who though Andrea Bargnani was supposed to be a franchise player were Bryan Colangelo and Maurizio Gherardini. Very few people even expected him to even be an All-Star, let alone a franchise player.
headliner
My problem with him is a player his size and what he contributes on the defensive end was next to nothing. This team to make any kind of improvements they need a defensive minded big man in the middle and Andrea does not fit the bill.
