Dash
Kurt Rambis, Minnesota Timberwolves: Rambis is expected to be fired, but it’s uncertain when the decision will be announced, several league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Rambis is 32-132 in two seasons with the T’wolves, including an NBA-worst 17-65 this season with the league’s youngest team. Minnesota general manager David Kahn declined to talk about Rambis’ future in a news conference on Wednesday, but cited the team’s lack of improvement since All-Star weekend. One Wolves player told Yahoo! Sports that Rambis’ game plans were often confusing and the coaching staff didn’t seem to be on the same page. Another league source described Rambis’ chances of keeping his job as “slim,” saying the only thing that could save him is if Wolves ownership doesn’t want to eat the remaining money on his contract and hire someone new with a possible lockout approaching. Former NBA point guard Mark Jackson was the runner-up to Rambis in Minnesota’s coaching search two years ago, but it’s unclear whether team officials would prefer a more experienced candidate. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=At_SZgfxaDrasPSSpGT.UpK8vLYF?slug=mc-spears_nba_coaching_carousel041511 I can't say that he will be missed but I don't think there are many coaches available that would be any better. I do think that Rambis' chances are better than "slim" because Taylor has proven many times to be cheap.

Check my Stats
He is trying to teach the triangle to a bunch of idiots. I have no clue about the guy, but I doubt it is his fault as much as it is a personnel problem. So long as management is content collecting rejected assets they will always be shit, even if Phil coached the team.
Dash
Rambis attends draft workouts. Kurt Rambis sat in the Minnesota Timberwolves practice facility on Monday, wearing a Timberwolves polo shirt and watching several draft prospects work out in front of a host of coaches, scouts and executives from around the league. He sat several feet away from Minnesota president David Kahn, a scene that wouldn't have been quite so awkward if Rambis knew whether he was returning for a third season as Timberwolves coach. Rambis made a surprise appearance on Monday as the Wolves hosted draft prospects and league officials for the second day of a three-day minicamp. Neither Rambis nor Kahn were made available for interviews, but Kahn said through a team spokesman that no decision has been made on the future of Rambis yet, with the June 23 draft one month away. http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5hSulsfqWyzTI-JrZfc_VG6iOqjYg?docId=6934712 Ridiculous how the Wolves management is handling this but kudos to Rambis for preparing for the draft despite not knowing his status with the team.
