AboveLegit
http://espn.go.com/nba/attendance Just thought I'd post this since the end of the regular season has passed. Pretty surprising how high Cleveland is, and the Pacers finishing last despite being a playoff team.

htown11
#20 for the Rockets makes sense... mediocre spot for another mediocre season. They made it fun in the second half of the season but it was so inconsistent in the first half. The Rockets need a superstar, fans love these guys currently for all the hustle but having that star attraction definitely helps.
Flash
Heat fans never show up.

Check my Stats
Pretty awesome for the Cavs, even after LBJ leaves he is the reason they sold out so many games. Once that chip on their shoulder was gone though, the fans stopped showing up, their capacity was 100% for quite a while I am pretty sure. Raps still in the top 2/3 after a shit season, these fans is just dying for a quality team.
Flash
That's really impressive from the fans in Cleveland considering all the stuff that happened in the past year. Good for them.
Teletopez
Team insiders are quick to point out that the Nets numbers released to the league are "turnstile numbers", that is people who actually enter the arena. Teams are free to report either "turnstile numbers" or tickets sold and distributed. In terms of tickets sold and distributed, insiders say the Nets were about the middle of the NBA.Link
fish7718
So people bought Nets tickets they just didn't go to the game? Sounds like Yankees fans
NomarFachix
As opposed to not buying tickets or going to games for Mets fans. :glasses:
Jenneral
Surprised that the Bucks brought in over 15,000 fans a game. When I'd go (and especially when watching on TV) it hardly every seemed like there were 10,000 people there... and that's being extremely generous. The Great iBoldin
I'm kinda surprised that the Thunder were so low. I believe OK Arena only seats 18,200 or something around there, so it`s practically a sell-out for the Thunder. Much lower then many other arenas in the league. Karl Malone
Hornets such a low attendance, they should have stayed in Oklahoma City. NO fans dont deserve to have a team with that shit. Pistons have a higher attendance.... seriously.
JYD
Hornets such a low attendance, they should have stayed in Oklahoma City. NO fans dont deserve to have a team with that shit. Pistons have a higher attendance.... seriously.Detroit is more of a basketball city than N.O. That's one thing you have to look at, too. Just the general history of the team means a lot. Just because your team has a nice year doesn't mean the fans will be there.
Guru
So people bought Nets tickets they just didn't go to the game? Sounds like Yankees fansWell the tickets were going for something like 20 cents for some games. So it's actually nothing like the Yankees. Phightins
The Cavaliers being high doesn't really surprise me. They obviously had a bunch of season ticket accounts from the LeBron era that carried over. Don't see it lasting, though.

After they saw how this season went I'm sure some will be dropping their ticket plans.

Lkr
Just seems like that building is packed and intense every game.its filled to 99.3% capacity, meaning that basically every seat is filled. They might have a capacity listed higher but the seats aren't usable. sort by percent, that is what really matters Edited April 18, 2011 by Rainbow Dash
Buckets!
Cleveland Cavs attendance doesn't mean a damn thing. Those tickets were because some dumb fans ACTUALLY, ACTUALLY thought LBJ will come back to that crappy team. HAHA Cavs fans.
