Teletopez
A guy by the name of Tim E. O'Brien tweaks uniforms and courts as a hobby, and he introduced his ideas for the Brooklyn Nets' jerseys and court design. Here is his website. He shares his ideas on Uni Watch Blog:The differences are subtle but significant. The five stars have different placement to fit with the modern cut of NBA uniforms (three on the shorts, two on the jersey), the red stripe loops over the shoulder and the blue isn’t as navy as it was in the 70s. If the ‘NETS’ and uni numbers on the jersey look a bit off center, that’s because they are. Combine that with the road blue’s vertical ‘Brooklyn’ on the red stripe and you have one of the most idiosyncratic uniforms in the NBA. And with the move to Brooklyn comes a move to the soon to be built Barclays Center. With such a fancy new home, you need a fancy new court and that is precisely what I tried to give the Nets. With this rebrand I tried to convey a unification between this historic organization and its brand new home, but only wins will convince the people of Brooklyn to make the Nets their own. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/Timmacane/Uniform%20Concepts/Nets%20Rebrand/Nets_NPC_BB_H_1.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/Timmacane/Uniform%20Concepts/Nets%20Rebrand/Nets_NPC_BB_R_1.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/Timmacane/Uniform%20Concepts/Nets%20Rebrand/Nets_Court_2.jpg
Flash
Love the Uni's but I think the court might be a little too throwback. You need a balance of new and old school.
Teletopez
http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums/cc437/newyorkyankees66/DeronWilliamsRetro.jpg I've been in favor of using the Hardwood Classics as our regular jerseys in Brooklyn.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v427/JetsLuvver/NBA%20jerseys/nets70s.png One thing I have against O'Brien's idea is having Brooklyn displayed down the red stripe on the road jersey. I'd rather see 'BKLN' or 'Brooklyn' replace the 'New York' text, while the red stripe stays blank.

Universe
I've heard rumors about our colours being bluish purple and grey but would much rather those colours above.
Cleveland's Finest
There are way too many teams with the blue/red color scheme, and the Wizards are also going back to the Bullets jersey....
AboveLegit
There are way too many teams with the blue/red color scheme, and the Wizards are also going back to the Bullets jersey....We're sticking with the Wizards, but you're right, we are switching to the red color scheme. Teletopez
no wayI wasn't serious in guaranteeing that. Too early to guarantee how things go. But "no way?" There's a legitimate chance at either team beating out the other.
NomarFachix
But "no way?" There's a legitimate chance at either team beating out the other.Right. But there's as much chance of "no way" as "we'll be the best team in NY"
