I'm going to take Brook Lopez. Jefferson needs to play the four, and having Lopez at the five would allow that to happen. He's a legit starter and potential all-star center.

Not only that, but I can't imagine the Wolves being any better than they were last season, because Lopez wouldn't have THAT big of an impact yet...and that could mean that Lopez, Jefferson and Rubio could have been Minnesota's trio in a couple of seasons.

At the time, Lopez would have been a great pick for them, so that Jefferson can go back to the 4 spot. Westbrook also could have been a decent pickup, but with all the point guards in last years draft, it would have been smart to pick a big that year, and Lopez is the best big in the draft.

Umm, how are you taking Lopez over Beasley? Lopez reminds me a lot of Al Horford, a guy who will be a solid player but I doubt he ever improves a lot. Beasley has a ton of potential to be an all-star in the NBA. If you look at Beasley's splits it's obvious the NBA was a huge adjustment, he wasn't able to do what he wanted when he wanted like in College when he dominated. I didn't watch Beasley closely last year but it's obvious he got a lot more comfortable as the season wore on, his FG% went from 45-42-46-48-48-55 month by month, he looks like he really put it together in the last month of the year in 8 games averaging 21-9 and taking more 3's than any point in the year.

Don't get me wrong I'm a huge fan of Lopez, he is a rock solid NBA player, he is a safe pick. But with Beasley the upside you have is a potential franchise player, a guy who will make all-star teams, a guy who will be the leading scorers on teams. He averaged 14 PPG in 24 minutes last year, I mean Beasley could break out next year and be a 20 point player beside Wade. It's obvious he is going to be an extremely efficient NBA scorer and dominant on the offensive end, his defense leaves a lot to be desired but his length alone at the SF spot will allow him to disrupt his opponents.

The reason I am taking Beasley easily over Lopez is based on the fact when I look at Lopez I see a very good role player and a guy who would be hard pressed to make an all-star team. When I see Beasley I see a guy who could potentially be a top 10 scorer in the NBA.

Also at 3 you are taking the best player available in my opinion, you don't worry about positional needs.

I'm not taking Beasley because he's a power forward, and that's where I need Jefferson to play. If you just traded your franchise player a couple of years ago JUST to rake in Al Jefferson (speaking about Garnett), you don't draft a player that plays the same position, unless it's a LeBron or Dwight.

Since I voted for Miami to take Brook I'm voting for the T-Wolves to take Courtney Lee. They already have a top 3-4 Center in the game today but they give you nothing from their back court. So if they build a team with solid back court scorers around Big Al their team can be dominant.
