Jenneral
One of the interesting items to come out of general manager John Hammond's news briefing Tuesday was this: Michael Redd still might be an appealing option for the Bucks. It's difficult to know what will happen in free agency and with the lockout that could begin July 1. Redd is a free agent and will be able to consider offers from any teams. But the way both parties ended the past season allows the possibility of Redd's return. The 31-year-old worked hard to get back in shape and was able to play in the final 10 games of the season. And Redd appreciated the way coach Scott Skiles made an effort to get him back into the lineup as a reserve, even when the Bucks were still fighting for an Eastern Conference playoff berth. It's thought there will be some interest in Redd around the league, as a shooter who can come off the bench and give the team an offensive boost. Clearly the Bucks could use that, too. Read More... Jenneral
I wouldn't mind to bring him back on a one-year deal. I wouldn't even care what the dollar amount was to be honest. I'm the farthest from a Redd fan but what can it hurt at this point? The team isn't going anywhere with the current roster and it's going to take at least a few seasons for us to correct the issues at hand. Redd could provide some offense of the bench and also possibly finish his career in Milwaukee, where it all started.
