AboveLegit
Jamal Crawford earned $10 million in the final year of his deal with the Hawks and is now a free agent. He should be one of the more attractive players on the market because of his ability to score off the bench. Crawford is 31 and said he wants to play at least five more years. The question is whether he would take a mid-level exception — if that exists under the new collective bargain agreement — from a team such as the Celtics. Crawford clamored for an extension from the frugal Hawks but the club didn’t bite. He is the type of player who would interest the Celtics, and he would likely listen if it meant a chance at competing for a title.http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball/articles/2011/05/15/herren_wrote_the_book_on_descent_redemption/?page=4 Earlier in the year he stated that he wanted an extension from the Hawks or he'd demand a trade, so I'm not sure he would accept a MLE from Boston just to have a chance to win a title. Either way, let's see what happens, he would be a good fit for them off the bench, they need some consistency in their second unit.
?QuestionMark?
That'll be hard unless it's a S&T. Crawford could get more in the open market than the MLE. I think even Atlanta would offer more than MLE if that's all he's getting. I think Boston would have a better shot at getting JR Smith. Stuckey and Nick Young are the type of players Boston could use off the bench but Was and Det probably match any MLE offer. Afflalo or CDR might be another option. Sun Tzu
I don't see him going to Boston at all. He could be making around $7-8 million per season if you ask me, which I believe he will.

Art
If the Hawks let this guy go. I just don't know.
uwp
Please Celts, stay away from Crawford.
Newman
What's so bad about having Crawford? The Celtics need someone to score off the bench and Crawford could be the guy.
