Dash
With a fractured left fibula, Omer Asik won’t be touching the hardwood for the next two months. Longtime SLAM writer Aggrey Sam breaks the news: “Source confirms Omer is out for the season. [...] What team described as “lower leg injury” for Asik is actually fractured left fibula, according to a league source.” http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/2011/05/omer-asik-out-for-season-with-fractured-fibula/ Tough loss for the Bulls. Owner Real Deal Posted May 25, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted May 25, 2011 Asik gets props for playing very good defense. He was always there, helping out on penetrations, and he contested well. I criticized him in the past, but he stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. It's unfortunate that he's out, but Chicago is toast anyway.
