Guts me that stuff like this exists, especially in a such an innocent young child. Makes me question so much.. RIP little buddy. I'm going to look into fundraising or something. I'm assuming he was nearly blind in both eyes (looks like completely blind in the right eye), and you can tell he has no control of any muscles.
