The big three (Bosh, Wade and LeBron) scored 69 of the team's 83 points in Game 5...83% of the team's points.

Just as shocking, after Mario's free throw with 2:21 left to go in the 3rd quarter, the big three scored the rest of the team's points...all 33 of them.

Exactly why I thought it was hilarious when so many people were barking midway thru the season that they couldn't reach the Finals with the supporting cast, or they haven't played together long enough...

It's almost impossible to stop two go-to-guys in a seven games series, and another guy that could be the No. 1 option on many teams in the League.

It's like with Chicago, they have one go-to-guy. You shut him down, the entire team looks lost. Rose got completely shut down by LeBron, and no one his team can get their own shot. The best option they had was Kurt Thomas coming off a PnR for a 17 ft jump shot.

Well, with Arroyo instead of Bibby and Haslem out, like was the case midway through the season, I don't think they would have reached the Finals either...

All you really need is three good players. Most teams have one good player and like four role players who put up as much as our two other stars. We are just lucky to have a really good front office who snagged guys up for cheap (Haslem, Anthony)....and we wasted a lot of cash on Miller and he hasn't shown up that much.

This is why I never understood the supporting cast argument. While some teams have 3 guys who can go off for 20 any night, like the Mavs, the Heat have 3 guys who can go off for between 30 and 40 points any night, realistically, on their own. As long as they keep the big 3 surrounded with good shooters and defenders, I don't see how they can lose any time soon. Players like Mike Miller are useless, they don't need 'good' players who need the ball in their hands, they just need specialists who can shoot and defend.

Imagine once this team lures a defensive anchor (Chandler?) with the MLE? Scary thought. The only thing that is going to prevent Miami from being a dynasty is probably the CBA.
