The Lone Granger
Mike Woodson and Kelvin Sampson are the early leading candidates to take over head coaching duties for fired John Kuester in Detroit.Woodson formerly coached the Hawks after being an assistant coach in Detroit, while Sampson famously left the Oklahoma and Indiana college programs in some disarray before advising Gregg Popovich's staff last year, and assisting the Bucks this season. Bill Laimbeer and Mark Jackson are also thought to be under consideration, although Jackson sounds likely to land with Golden State. rotoworld Both coaches would be a good fit for Detroit. I think that Woodson would be the best candidate for them, but maybe the youngster Sampson would be better in some ways because of his excitement with a young team. What do you guys think? Personally I'll say that Woodson would be a great coach for them to have, but what are your guys' thoughts?
