The Lone Granger
J.J. Barea will replace DeShawn Stevenson in the starting lineup for the Dallas Mavericks for Tuesday's Game 4 of the NBA Finals. http://www.rotoworld.com/images/headshots/NBA/1326.jpg Rick Carlisle had to do something to get Barea going, but we're not sure that this is going to be it. Stevenson has been atrocious to watch on the defensive end in the first three games, but Barea is going to be attacked early and often by the Heat offense. Carlisle also said that Brian Cardinal will be ahead of Peja Stojakovic in the rotation. rotoworld This is a very interesting move. Barea is undersized, but he'll play harder, and probably will have a big impact as a starter. Great move from Carlisle. Gusty, but good move. Thoughts? Make It Naaaashty
Barea will be playing on Bibby more than likely so defensively it shouldn't be an issue. I don't think starting him will solve the struggles he's had throughout the series but if he can start knocking down his open shots and making better decisions, this could end up being a great move from Carlisle. He'll also give more firepower offensively with his penetration off the pick n roll with Dirk. We'll see how this pans out tonight.
