Bill doesn't handle the offensive duties though, really it'll be Bill O'Brien utilizing him. I don't think Vick is going to be very good for an entire football year anyways. Not going to be conditioned that well, and he's best and only position is Quarterback, somewhere he will not get reps in New England. ChosenOne
The Patriots are confirming that Michael Vick was not in Foxboro on Friday. The Miami Herald's Jeff Darlington upped the ante late Friday afternoon, citing two "reliable" NFL sources who reported that Vick was working out for the Pats as of 3:30 p.m. Darlington has since backed off his report. The Pats' denial comes after NFL insiders Tom Curran, Adam Schefter and Peter King had shot down the story. Jul. 31 - 5:27 pm et ECN's Broken Heart Idk what to believe. EastCoastNiner
And, you guys are the same people that said Randy Moss would never end up in New England. It's alright, he will end up in New England, and beast.
The Great iBoldin
In what capacity? He's not going to find any receiving time with Moss, Welker and Galloway there, maybe a few catches here and there, and he's not a running back. Your going to sign him to run a few wildcat plays and call him a beast? Please.

Tell me how, because I don't see it. He's never been a receiver in his career, he's fresh out of a jail sentence, hasn't been in a NFL camp, training or conditioning for over a year, and he's sure as hell isn't a running back. Again, tell me what he's good for other then 3 snaps a game in a gimmick offense in New England?

He can play in the slot, he can be used like Kevin Faulk was, and they can even use him on defense if they need to, just like they had Troy Brown play defense, even though Troy Brown had played WR, so he had some experience catching the ball in a game, Have fun stopping Moss, Welker, Vick, and Galloway with their speed. Okay, that's all fun and games, but Vick has never caught the ball before, because he's not a wide receiver, and he's NOT a running back, he doesn't have the hands that Kevin Faulk has. And your delirious if you think they can use him on defense, that's one of the all time worst ideas I've ever heard. Your grasping at very thing straws, far out of your reach in your explanation. Vick can only play quarterback. Why are people already moving him out of position?

It's very annoying, just so you know. But like I said, I agree with Boldin. Vick can't be used anywhere but the quarterback position, and attempting to put him on defense would be somewhat humorous. Maybe maybe though he could play a kick returner position though.

The Great iBoldin
- Patriots owner Robert Kraft said in a Sirius Radio Interview that he's not interested in Michael Vick. He said that Bill Belichick felt comfortable with Kevin O'Connell as Brady's backup, and that Vick doesn't fit his marketing plans. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&id=2107

CaliCurbStomppa
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots owner Robert Kraft suggests that New England has little interest in signing Michael Vick. Kraft says the team doesn't need the former Atlanta Falcons star because the Patriots already have the best quarterback in Tom Brady. Patriots coach Bill Belichick praised Vick's ability last week when he was conditionally reinstated by the NFL after serving 18 months in prison for running a dogfighting ring. lol no wildcat for pats this year Edited August 2, 2009 by CaliCurbStomppa
