Yes I'm happy. First because, as I said, the Mavs have been my second fav team since Nowitzki arrival, Dirk is my favorite current player. But not only for that... Yes I'm also happy cause I remember all the debates I had last year with people who were trying to convince that Dirk was a TERRIBLE leader and that the Mavs would NEVER WIN WITH HIM AS THE FIRST [expletive]ING OPTION.... MY ASS !!! I said it before the season even started that this team could win it all. I don't know how many times I've been criticized for it... yet I kept saying it all year long. Even when the Blazers came back to win game 4 (or 3 I don't remember). What I told ya htown ? Remember when I told ya, right after that game, that the Mavs would eventually win the series and a ring ? I'm also thinking about all those people who were so 100% SURE that the Heat would win it all, that it was impossible otherwise... And how much I was criticized when I said that a great team on paper was not a guarantee to win it all... Yeah I remember that. Those people just couldn't even conceive that the Heat could lose... I hope that they know better now. Cause yes another team of stars FAILED. Like many others before... Well anyway I'm especiallly for Dirk, we couldn't dream of a more humble Finals MVP. Fantastic player, he's definitely an All Time great. He's been struggling in the first half in this game but got back to his best in the clutch, showing one more time that he's clearly one of the most clutch players and one of the best leaders in the leaders. And I'm happy for Kidd, he deserved more than anything to have this ring, after this great career. Great NBA season, I couldn't have been happier.
