deestillballin
Nobodys big headed SHOW ME ONE post where I was talking big shit like you and your heat buddies? Even when we were up 3-0 on the Lakes, hell I wasn't saying ANYTHING until we won it all. And most members on here who have me on FB can vouch for that too.. Dash
lol ok...now you guys are getting all big headed. I got no reason to be mad, we will be back in contention for a title next year. Just saying enjoy your win and you come at me with stupid shit like that. Piss off. If you think I was cocky, this was just me being reserved because I know what kind of message board I am dealing with. I could be cocky as shit but I don't do it out of respect for other people here. Just wait till next basketball season though, won't find a cockier dude out there. I will find gifs and pics for every situation. Challenge accepted.  http://badref.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Lebron-Wizzard-oz.jpg
SRV
I didn't say YOU were big headed, I said everyone rooting against us is getting big headed. Yea, we lost, we were under a microscope all year, but you don't understand how it is when I have to defend my team because of some stupid media story but no one gives a shit because the only thing on their mind is "Lebron is a dick, the Heat suck, the Heat are all cocky, Heat fans are all stupid" you can't convince anyone of anything when thats their mindset. Just like you guys think Lebron is a cocky asshole along with Wade, all this shit Stevenson is doing is not much better. I am simply saying Stevenson is a scumbag but in everyone elses mind it goes like this "Stevenson hates Lebron, I hate Lebron, so whatever Stevenson does it perfectly fine". I know most of you think what I am saying is stupid, but in a normal world, Stevenson is a scumbag, a dirtbag, and an idiot. I rest my case. Just enjoy your win, don't spend your celebration time talking shit to Heat fans (like Dash). Edited June 13, 2011 by SRV

Built Ford Tough
Seriously, what do you expect to happen when the Heat lost after all the shit they talked this season about how it would be easy, they are going to win not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7 etc.... and the countless other crap?  Of course people will talk shit about them considering they just lost in the Finals, especially to a team that has 2 of the most popular ringless veterans in the league in Dirk and Kidd. Honestly, the aftermath of the game is pretty civil if you ask me. I thought it was going to be a lot worse than it was, so I really have no idea what you are complaining about. This honestly isn't even worse than what Laker fans had to endure when they lost to Boston in 08. Owner Real Deal Posted June 13, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 13, 2011 Yea, we lost, we were under a microscope all year, but you don't understand how it is when I have to defend my team because of some stupid media story but no one gives a shit because the only thing on their mind is "Lebron is a dick, the Heat suck, the Heat are all cocky, Heat fans are all stupid" you can't convince anyone of anything when thats their mindset. That stupid media story was minor compared to what I had to defend Kobe Bryant for back in the summer of 2003 (rape accusations)...and, even worse, the Lakers were globally hated because they were a dynasty, with a superstar that nobody liked (Kobe) and another that made fun of everyone from Divac to Yao (Shaq). It didn't help that both were at each other's throats. Most of the time, all Lakers fans are considered unintelligent bandwagoners. I heard it over and over again on JBB, from Sonics fans (among others). I'd post my ass off, and it wouldn't matter.  The crazy thing is, you have been through just one season of this mess. Opposing teams have been chanting "beat LA" since I can remember. Utah fans would bring blow-up dolls to the game, for Kobe. They made fun of Fisher's daughter (her cancer) by holding their eyes during his free throws. Denver would chant "rapist" during games. Some of it still happens. Nobody is going to sympathize with Heat fans, especially those that have defended LeBron to the death. There were times that a lot of Lakers fans would come out and say they hated the way Shaq talked trash on the "Queens" (he started that) and how he spit a racist comment about Yao. When LeBron and Wade are making fun of Dirk's illness, though, it's all fun and games...and when that's noticed (easily noticed), non-Heat fans lose respect for not just those two, but also for the fanbase, and this is the result of it. It never helped that you guys had posters like Diesel, who was talking major shit all season long about his Heat winning it all this year. Poe bragged about his conference finals predictions, and knew the Heat would win it all. Flash knew. Did you? If some of you had gone about it differently, or if LeBron wasn't such a POS, things wouldn't be this way.
SRV
Yea, I expect the hate, but I am just defending my team. It sucks when my opinion doesn't matter because I am outnumbered. I mean, me, Flash, and Poe are like the only Heat fans here. Sure as hell the three of us can't convince the other 200 of you about something. Atleast the Lakers have enough people to make a compelling argument, but my arguments get shot down quickly. Most of the media attention the Heat get is minor things that get blown up. I am simply defending them for stupid stories. I think the Wade coughing thing was really stupid, he himself saids he admired Dirk, I am sure he was kidding. Stevenson on the other hand just outright saids stupid shit but no one cares. Thats the only thing that bothers me. If the Heat do something its wrong, ut if someone else does it, it gets no media attention. Imagine if Lebron had a shirt like that, the media and people on this website would crucify him. YugoRocketsFan
it seems that everyone forgot that the heat were only two games from winning the championship, and everyone forgot that the Mavs had to shoot 60% for like three games straight to win. Heat are likely gonna threepeat after this season, miami fans should just accept the hate, everyone knows they wish they had LeBron, Wade and Bosh on their team. One HAS to do things like that to get attention, the other doesn't need to, but chooses to anyway.

Dash
LeBron, Wade and Bosh >> KG, Pierce, Allen, and wayyyy younger. From a talent perspective? Sure, but in terms of fit and defensive capabilities the Celtics were the ideal big three.  Not to mention the Celtics won the championship as their first season as a group, and were starting two very young players (tons of questions about Rondo at that time) and their bench consisted of James Posey and a bunch of guys signed for the minimum and smaller deals (kind of like the Heat). The Heat big 3 are much better than the Celtics big 3 were when they first got together and they have already reached their primes when they won the Championship. LeBron is 26 and he has been to already 2 finals, thats 2 more than MJ did until he got to age 27. I see the Heat going again to the finals so that would be 3 finals at age 27 for LeBron. Nobody understands how good this Heat team is, you just put 1-2 more pieces on that team and they are a deadly force. Owner Real Deal Posted June 13, 2011 Author Owner Report Share Posted June 13, 2011 LeBron, Wade and Bosh >> KG, Pierce, Allen, and wayyyy younger.Way younger? Pierce, Garnett and Allen were 30, 31 and 32 (in that order) when they won it all. Rondo was 21. Wade will be 30 by the time the 2012 Playoffs roll around. All of them will be in their ninth seasons. Pierce was in his 10th. The entire "eight championship" claim was funny. These guys aren't 20 years old. I wouldn't say they are "wayyyy" younger. Thats not attacking a certain player though. Stevenson went out his way to talk shit to Lebron. If Lebron was truly an ass he would talk shit back, but he never did.He did enough of that by making fun of Dirk. You can believe what you want, but Wade dodging the truth was to save face. If he really did have a cough, he would've just coughed, and not had Dirk on his mind the entire time. He did it because he knew the media would blow it up? Sounds ridiculously dumb to me. He must have wanted to explain himself later? Wanted to make Dirk smile? Wade and LeBron got their cocky asses beat, so they aren't going to sit there and say they were making fun of the guy they were getting destroyed by in the fourth quarter of every game, the guy that decided he wasn't going to leave Dallas and team up with another superstar, and the guy that, for all of his career, has been very quiet and not as Hollywood and dramatic as LeBron and Wade. I'm done talking about that incident, though. Most knew what their intentions were, and it didn't work.

This alone proves just what kind of team there needed to be to beat the Heat in 6 games. I don't see a team from the West like the Mavs emerging again so it is fair to say that the Heat are going to be so dominant, everyone who doesnt agree is just failing to accept it. The mileage isn't just about one's age. LeBron was a primary option when he stepped onto the court right out of high school, at 19 years old, while Jordan was 21 or 22. In the same amount of seasons, Jordan already had two rings. Gasol had checked out the first game of the Hornets series, and I won't need to talk about Ron. Even Kobe was spent. The 2011 Lakers team was nothing like the two-time defending champs. They went on a massive 17-1 run, then started losing games like crazy to end the season. Hard to swallow, but they weren't going to beat anyone decent in the playoffs. Hell, Portland took Dallas to six games. What does that say about the Heat? Are you willing to make comparisons there?
