"At the end of the day all the people rooting on me to fail at the end of the day you have to wake up and have the same life that they had before they woke up today. The same personal problems they had today and I am going to continue to live the way I wanna live and do the things that I wanna do and be with my family and be happy with that. They can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case and be happy about not only myself but the Miami Heat not accomplishing their goal, but they have to get back to the real world at some point."

As stated earlier, I would love to play in the NBA, and I do have problems, but at least my girl isn't getting banged by other NBA players, and my mom isn't getting nailed by someone in his 20s with open sores on his lip.

I think it's a pretty fair statement to his critics...

Most people's problem is they like to focus on other people's problems than their own. People who are wildly successful in their (or ANY) field are successful because they choose to mind their own problems (not others), and figure out how to fix them. People are caught up in daily dramas and it seems like they are more interested in celebrities/ famous people's lives and getting caught up in flash news, than their own lives. I think LeBron simply wants to say: mind your own business... which is actually for their own sake. Because as long as you mind other people's business, and not mind your own, you will never be successful.

Sums up what I was trying to say in the gameday thread yesterday.

Its sad when you have a network like ESPN hire guys whos job is to follow Lebron's everyday life and pick out certain quotes and moments and then torch him for it. Then fans of other teams take pride when Lebron fails. Thats not a way to live life. Rather than spend your day wishing something bad happens to Lebron and the team he is on, live your life and enjoy it. Rather than Mavs fans celebrating their win, I see them posting pics and gifs of Lebron and the Heat. You guys just won the championship and you are just happy that it was against Lebron.

Hahaha, man I had never cheered or gotten so excited for a team other than the Lakers/Colombia national team in such a long time. [expletive] lebron haha.

You Miami fans have to accept the fact that everybody hates the Heat and are estatic they lost.

I have accepted it. Oh well, we are hated for many reasons, but at least we are good.

Love how LeBron has so many haters, its gonna be amazing to see when he wins a ring, OTR will average like 60 posts a day.

I think everyone on this board is well aware that the Heat are in store for at least 2-3 championships. To be blunt, the hate would be significantly less if Lebron didn't come off as such a douche.

That said, in a way Lebron going to Miami and becoming a "villain" might be a good thing for the NBA. Never have I seen so many different fans rally behind one team.

The NBA hasn't had a good villain for a long time, probably since Kobe was accused of rape. I think it's good for the NBA. LeBron makes a great villain. He's a cocky douchebag and evidently doesn't care what people think of him.
