Dash
I've got my eye on the Bucks as well. For the last two years they've made big trades on draft night. They kept their pick both times, but this year might be different. The team thinks that they're a 45- to 50-win ball club if they're healthy. Adding another veteran to the mix might help push that along. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/blog?name=nba_draft&id=6672205&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnba%2fblog%3fname%3dnba_draft%26id%3d6672205 I guess it would depend who Milwaukee would be getting back but if Alec Burks, someone who fills a need and has high upside, is available I don't see why you deal the pick. We saw what happened last time Bucks management went out and tried to get veterans.
Jenneral
I'm hoping the move would be #10 pick + one of Salmons, Gooden, Maggette for either a higher pick or a veteran with a shorter deal. It's funny how right when we clear Redd's massive contract from the books we're now staring at there new ones. That's the Bucks for you. Dash
@DraftExpress Jonathan GivonyI'm told that if the prospect Milwaukee covets (I suspect Valanciunas) isn't available at 10, they will trade the pick to Houston for 14+23. http://twitter.com/#!/DraftExpress/status/83224657129508864 This would be a good deal for the Bucks but the Rockets? I'm not feeling it, there isn't anyone going in the #10-13 range worth two first round picks unless its for Valanciunas and since both teams want both, that can't happen.
