Cleveland's Finest
Of course the Cleveland St. Norris Cole ends up in Miami.... anyone else see Hutch on TV?

Newman
I do not want to trade him to Minny for the project big man.
Smitty
Man... you know your franchise is boring when you're looking forward to the #50 pick of the draft. Sixers -_-
?QuestionMark?
C'mon Mitch take Selby.
?QuestionMark?
Ok that works too. Probably the best shooter after Fredette. Morris and Goudelock probably fight it out for a roster spot. Edited June 24, 2011 by ?QuestionMark?
Jenneral
Kind of cool that the Bucks are keeping Leuer in Wisco.
Smitty
....wow. We really picked Allen. It's the 50th pick I know but...cmon. Even that's too early to be picking him. Worst Sixers draft in a long time. D-
Newman
I like this pick for Portland. After losing Rudy, gaining Diebler purely for his shooting ability works.
Cleveland's Finest
Can we please draft OSU's David Lighty????? Cleveland is his hometown...fans would love this.
Cleveland's Finest
Lighty was RIGHT THERE for the taking...and we NEEDED a shooting guard....we need one badly.
?QuestionMark?
LA should take David Lighty with one of their last two picks. But I'm guessing there last two picks will be one of these: Malcolm Thomas, Julyan Stone, Isiah Thomas, Michael Dunnigan, Matthew Bryan-Amaning . AboveLegit
Good ass draft, love it. I'm even willing to give Vesely a chance (yes it was me that tweeted that he'll be a bust, it was a knee jerk reaction).
?QuestionMark?
Who?
Built Ford Tough
At least Van Gundy is honest when he said he has never heard of the guy, unlike Fran who tries to sound smart but then realizes he is talking out of his ass so he just says the generic "he is raw" comment. Epic name, though. His name alone probably got him drafted.
?QuestionMark?
Are teams just messing with Silver now? Picking guys just to hear him try to pronounce their names? C'mon Lighty! Or Hopson, or Willie Reed, Ravern Johnson, or Chris Wright. Or take an international player like Zubcic or Benzing or Shermandini and stash them. Edited June 24, 2011 by ?QuestionMark? Newman
He played 3 games in the D-League, averaging 0.7 PPG.

?QuestionMark?
I hope Mitch is selling both these picks. You don't draft these guys. Better talents like Lighty available and way better overseas talent they could stash.
Smitty
Mitch is trying to find the next DJ Mbenga. It's clear as a beautiful day.
Newman
I actually saw Majok play here in Australia. He is an okay player here, but in the NBA? I don't think so.
Dash
I wouldn't say steep considering they got Flynn as well. The 23rd pick is whatever as far as I am concerned and I'd imagine the first next year is going to have some protection, possibly lottery protection. Flynn had an awful year this year, but he does have some talent and Motiejunas could be a very good offensive big man. I think it was a pretty damn good trade for Houston. They do need to make some sort of move with their glut of power forwards, though. Paterson, Morris, Scola and Motiejunas is a very crowded position. And Jordan Hill. Someone definitely needs to go. I liked Flynn at the deadline but the fact of the matter is that he will be the Rockets' 3rd point guard, so I wouldn't weigh his value along with Motiejunas'. Love the trade regardless. Built Ford Tough
And Jordan Hill. Someone definitely needs to go. I liked Flynn at the deadline but the fact of the matter is that he will be the Rockets' 3rd point guard, so I wouldn't weigh his value along with Motiejunas'. Love the trade regardless. Getting him, whether you are going to flip him somewhere else or hope he can beat out Dragic for the backup PG spot, is still a better asset than the 23rd pick in a shitty draft as far as I am concerned. Brad Miller is a non-factor so really, as far as I am concerned, this trade was Motiejunas and Flynn for a future pick in terms of actual assets. I imagine the future pick is going to have some form of protection on it as well as I don't see Morey giving up an unprotected 1st, so it is unlikely that the pick will end up costing you a top 5 selection or anything like that. I just don't see why you think it is a steep price. Either way, the Rockets got the guy they wanted in the end so I'm sure they, just like you, are very happy with the trade. ChosenOne
I missed the draft but looking at it right now I must say the Rockets did very well especially with the trade to get Flynn and DM.
