Cleveland's Finest
It's just pathetic seeing so many players from one team being represented on each side. The 1st place Indians get NO starters?

NomarFachix
Drubal should be the starting SS, I'm sure the coaches add him and he sees a good chunk of playing time.
NomarFachix
also, lol @ no CC. I know he starts too close to the game itself, but still.
fish7718
lolJeter Nice to see Avila there. Great job by the fans.CC pays the price for Jeter's popularity 1 robbery for 1 snub How about Ryan Vogelson? Bruce Bocey is a joke... Edit: well I guess Vogelson does have nice stats, but I still believe he should have only take 2 of the 3 pitchers he took...now over 1/2 of the NL pitching staff is Giants and Phillies Edited July 3, 2011 by fish7718

fish7718
I like how Paul Konerko hasn't been mentioned in this threadMiggy and A Gonz, just as and more deserving, Ron Washington brought Michael Young instead, a joke yes but Konerko is used to be snubbed and not talked about
EastCoastNiner
I think this is the first year in a while where every Red Sox player that made it was fully deserving of their selection.

trutrojan8
Shane Victorino does not deserve to be the fans vote in
Phightins
Shane Victorino does not deserve to be the fans vote in Why not? Based on performance, Ian Kennedy should be his only competition, really. Of the four hitters on the ballot, Shane is having the strongest offensive season (well, he and Morse are very close). Not to mention he is easily the best fielder of the group. But of course, in something like this, fan support is the only thing that matters. But he wins in that department too, so it seems like a slam dunk... Not even trying to be a homer here. It just seems pretty obvious to me. It's certainly close as there's no clear cut winner, but I feel like Helton certainly deserves to be higher than 3rd on the list

And not to get super nerdy on you, but Victorino has a pretty significant edge in WAR. And UZR too, going back to defense.
fish7718
66 runs produced for Todd Helton with an .881 OPS80 runs produced for Shane Victorino with a .900 OPS RC and OPS are my 2 favorite stats not to mention Shane plays CF btw I would have picked Aramis, crime he's not on there, having the best year of any 3B in the NL, should be starting...
