Lkr
Same as last time. Here we go:1. Adrian Peterson2. Arian Foster3. Chris Johnson4. Jamaal Charles5. Maurice Jones Drew(only because of injury concerns heading into this season)

The Regime
1. Chris Johnson2. Adrian Peterson3. Maurice Jones Drew4. Ray Rice5. Michael Turner I'm not going to jump on the Arian Foster bandwagon just yet, if he has another productive season then I'll consider bumping him into my top 5. Chris Johnson is the most complete back in the game, and doesn't have any major flaws. Peterson on the other hand has always had a tough time holding on to the ball, until he can rectify that issue he'll stay at #2. Maurice Jones Drew has the best hands out of the group, and runs behind a pretty weak offensive line yet he puts up spectacular numbers year in and year out. Ray Rice and Michael Turner are interchangeable, but I'll go with Ray Rice because he's the better receiver out of the backfield.

fish7718
Chris Johnson is nowhere near the most complete back, he is lack luster in blitz pick up and also is not a guy who can wear down a defense taking it through the tackles 20 times a game. Most complete back is MJD or Peterson, I'd give edge with MJD, can't go wrong with either.

The Great iBoldin
1. Adrian Peterson2. Chris Johnson3. Maurice Jones-Drew4. Jamaal Charles5. Steven Jackson Honorable mentions to Arian Foster, Michael Turner, Ray Rice, and Rashard Mendenhall. You can see I love Jamaal Charles. The running back position is a young mans game, a show me what you've done lately position because of the glamour and high failure rate once bodies start to age around 28 or 29. Charles was criminally underused by Todd Haley (what's new?) but still produced. Only McFadden and Lesean McCoy had less carries in the top 15 in rushing and they both were at least a yard behind per YPC to Charles. He's explosive, he makes plays and he racks up yards all while being fresh. It's insane that he was 2nd in rushing despite 230 carries. Steven Jackson is one of my favourite backs because he does it all. Picks up the blitz wonderfully, good receiver and he's a violent runner (could be seen a negative I suppose).
