They have needs on the defensive side of the ball and The Washington Post writes that the Redskins are on the list of teams interested in cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. AboveLegit Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 I've heard the Skins being linked to Braylon Edwards as well... which I absolutely hate. I don't understand what the direction of this franchise is if they do indeed sign Braylon. You draft 3 WR's, and it seemed pretty evident that they wanted to start developing young talent, bringing in a veteran receiver will only minimize potential. I like Asomugha, but I'm not sure he's worth the money he's projected to receive. Don't get me wrong, he's arguably the best CB in the league, but we're not a team trying to get over the hump, we need to rebuild and bring in young talent.
