At this rate, we will probably get 600,000 posts in less than a year, hahaha.

But yeah, it won't stay this active. Almost 2,000 posts in a 24-hour period is pretty crazy, though.

What is the most OTR has ever had in one day?

1,901 posts, I believe...and that was when Aaron created all of those gameday posts using the database, so we cheated.

Other than that, I think the record was 1,600.

Like I said with in 6 to 8 months this place could hit 450,000 post. Any agree?

Nah. That's an average of around 1700-1800 posts per day (just in my head) if we've got that eight-month period.

I'd say we will reach 300,000 posts by June 2010. That's an average of 800+ posts per day. We still have this full off-season to get through.

Just remember the name I was the first one to call 450 in 6 to 8 months haha.

Most of the posts are coming from people giving their sympathy and words of determination, so it won't continue to stay this active in all likelihood.

Well if you'd stick around and post baseball stuff, we could get some posts :)

I don't see why everyone cares about a number. I just like seeing topics and members staying active!

Exactly. I almost kind of wish there were forums that didn't keep track of user or total post count. It would certainly add to better quality in the posts.
