This is a very shaky Yankees club with 1,000 holes, and they're 3 back. I hope for your sake that they don't click.

I can play that card too. This is a Boston team that has had some key injuries that started the season awful, and they're only three games ahead.

The race is wide open, but I am very confident this year. This is the most confident I've been in years about a Boston sports team.

A 1-8 record against Boston isn't something to not be concerned about.....

Just like your lack of concern about the Red Sox offense getting shut down by every Phillies pitcher not named David Herndon or Scott Mathieson...

And they didn't even have to face Halladay that series!

But you already played the "Boston is the best evar" card, you can only play one card per thread :)

The Yankees had an awful losing streak too, as all teams do, so that eliminates the bad start.

Yeah I read that when you posted it a short while ago.

I bet you felt this way last year, too. That they're 1-8 against the Yanks and only 3 up tells me that they're mortal.

But, again, the Yankees need to click. That will only happen if Joe has the balls to move Jeter down in the order and promote Montero/bench Posada. So, likely not :) They value loyalty and fan perception over results.
