Floyd agrees to two-year deal to say in San Diego

Free agent WR Malcom Floyd agreed to a two-year deal Friday to stay in San Diego, according to a league source.

One of the biggest names left on the free-agent market, Floyd was being courted by several teams, with the Ravens, Cardinals, 49ers, Panthers and Raiders among the teams who had expressed some level of interest at one point or another.

Bringing back Floyd, who should start opposite Vincent Jackson, along with S Eric Weddle, were considered priorities for the Chargers. They were able to retain both.

Floyd had 37 receptions for 717 yards and a career-high six touchdowns in 11 games last season.
