In the 20 or so games that he has played since being called up he has hit .348 with 5 home runs, 14 RBIs with a 1.063 OPS.

 

Henderson Alvarez looked great so far tonight as well. 4 K's through 3 innings with only 1 hit. Too bad the one mistake he made turned into a 2 run homer, but outside of that he has looked very nice in his 4th career start. I wasn't too impressed with him for his first 3 and figured his future would be in the pen, but he has shown much more than just a fastball in this game so far.
