NomarFachix
Think of the hurricane as Christmastime. You buy large amounts of food, go last minute shopping in crowded stores, have family calling from out of state, light a bunch of candles, and you might even end up with a tree in your living room! Phightins
Down power line in my front yard. Massive electrical fire. Shit is scary. Still down and still live. Sparking up every 15 minutes or so. I have called 911 five times in the past 8 hours.
Smitty
Everything still standing over here.   Power didn't even go out surprisingly. Slept like a baby.

NomarFachix
Apparently the hurricane went back to water and skipped over Jersey. Only a few broken trees and floods, thankfully. Power still out.
Guru
Lmao there are sooooo many branches on my front lawn. Thank god no trees fell on my street though.
JYD
I've gotten very fortunate here. Not much down, still have power, no flooding any part of my house. #Blessed

reno
Do you ever find yourself disappointed when the hurricane weakens? I remember when I lived in florida I always cheered for a cat5 to come hit me, dunno why just seems more epic. Was always /sighed when it went to a 4-3-2-1 ect. Nitro
Yeah, I didn't get it too bad. Some streets have trees/huge branches that came down, which along with the lost power made the roads a little tricky to maneuver through, but otherwise there was no issues. fish7718
I live about 10 minutes away from hudson river, used to live 5 minute walk, but we call that 'in town' and I live a bit out of town. Anyway the town of Cold Spring apparently got hit pretty hard, the Hudson flooded a lot, which was expected, but lots of downed trees and stuff...
