WK1: Cincinnati at Cleveland

Real Deal

Since returning to the NFL over 10 years ago, the Browns have not won ONE season opener. This is a golden opportunity to finally start a season 1-0.

I'm not gonna underestimate the Bengals. ESPN ranked them last in its pre-season power rankings, but I think Dalton will have a good rookie year, and their offense isn't that bad.

But we have to win this game.

  • 2 weeks later...

That was an embarrassment.

Went to the game...we were down 13-0 to start, and we had around 10 penalties in the 1st half.

In the 2nd quarter we scored 2 TDs and led 14-13 at the half. That was the only quarter where we looked good. Cribbs had a few great returns to boost the offense. Ben Watson and MoMass caught some nice passes from Colt.

Then the rest of the game we had zero offense but managed to have a 17-13 lead going into the fourth.

Just when I thought we could finally win, on 3rd and long, Bruce Gradkowski threw a bomb to an uncovered A.J. Green.

So we lost, and now I can only imagine what will happen next week at Indy.
