Amazing finish, this team last year would've easily choked this game away. Props to Rex, despite two interceptions in the first quarter (one should've been called pass interference), he came through in the fourth and delivered some great passes. This team is just so much more disciplined now, which says a lot about the new guys Shanahan has brought in.

Kerrigan has to seriously be considered a candidate for rookie of the year, he has been unbelievable. The LB duo of Orakpo and Kerrigan will be dominant for the next few years.

Next few years? Expecting Orapko to go somewhere?

That's better :) as for Kerrigan I haven't seen enough of him to agree with you but if you're right I'm glad we have Doug Free and Tyron Smith...

He's basically an exact clone of Orakpo. Has a great motor, great instincts, and his pass rushing ability is incredible. He's getting better in coverage too, he had the pick 6 last week, and this week he had a tipped pass which resulted in a London Fletcher interception and had two sacks (but I think was only credited for one).

I can't wait to see this defense with LaRon Landry though, hopefully he's back for the Dallas game. He brings our defense to a whole new level.

You'll see Kerrigan next Monday. :)

he had the pick 6 last week

Wouldn't use this to indicate his coverage, Eli used a call that he used last season, Cofield turned and let him know what was coming and to jump and knock the ball down.. deflected off the top of his hands and right up in front of him, great instincts to track the ball and pick it up, though. Just wouldn't say it was tremendous coverage, he was more of a DE on that play.

Yeah good point, but overall though, for a player making the transition to linebacker, it's impressive what he's been able to do. His coverage skills need a lot of work, but he's definitely ahead of schedule.
