If you need a little help: http://www.otrbasketball.com/heat/roster.php Keep in mind that the top ROSTER of all time is not the same as the top five best players of the franchise, so obviously, those rosters will be leaving out players that could very well be in the top five, but were slotted behind a better player at that position. He's been one of the dominant players in the league since he entered the league. He's also responsible for bringing Miami their first and only title. 2. Alonzo MourningHe's Miami's leader in games played, rebounds, and blocks, while ranking second in points. He was one of the best defensive players in NBA history and one of it's most intimidating players. He helped make Miami one of the top teams during the late 90s and early 2000s. 3. Tim HardawayRanks second on Miami's all-time assist list, and was one of the best PGs in the NBA during his time with the Heat. He along with Zo formed one of the better duos in the NBA. 4. Glen RiceHe ranks third on Miami's all-time list in scoring and steals, is fifth in games played, and still ranks high in several other categories. He was Miami's first star and still holds the Heat record for points in a game with 56. And he did this after he was nailin' Palin so he gets points for his brief entry into politics. 5, Shaquille O'NealHe wasn't there long, but he helped get them a ring. I'll give Shaq a pass because he won a ring with Miami, but not LeBron... not yet. There's no doubt LBJ will be #2 on this list very soon, but you can't honestly put him in the top 5 already. If you wanna go the longevity route then definitely I'd agree but in terms of overall impact on the franchise and performance on the court..I'll put LBJ there no problem. Shaq The list WILL change if Lebron wins here, but those guys made the franchise what it is today. Without them, we are just any random NBA team with a shitty history.
