He's not Matt Cooke, he's "penalty killer specialist" Matt Cooke . Great quote by Mark Lee!

He's a changed man too! .

Also, I think Versus has the biggest hard-on for the Flyers. During last years playoffs they could not stop talking about THEEEEE JVR. Not just JVR, but THE JVR! Now they're all over Giroux's nuts as well. They are both excellent players, but damn, it's almost unbearable to listen to.

That was a sick pass by H. Sedin to D. Sedin. A saucer pass over two Pittsburgh players' sticks right on the tap of Daniel who buries it shelf on Fleury.

I know the two are known as huge divers and chokers, but man are they fun to watch when they have time and space tow ork with.

God damn Luongo is just [expletive]ing brutal. I don't know if I can watch him flounder like a fish out of water and look up to the heavens everytime he lets in a brutal goal for another season.

Also Malkin was brutal tonight, but that was a good move. He's still a piece of shit.

I'm sure Luongo will be fine......he just needs you to pump his tires.

Also, Malkin didn't look too good tonight, but he was pretty good during certain parts of the game. He made Luongo his bitch on that shootout goal though.

After watching the Bruins and Lightning game tonight, there is one thing I took away from this game. I've thought this for a while, but Steven Stamkos should not be put in the same class as Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin, and maybe a few other players. I barely even noticed he was on the ice tonight, and it's not the first time I've noticed that when watching him. When he's not on the PP, I think he is invisible quite often.

I always laugh when people try and rank him over Malkin and place him in the "Big Three" of Crosby, Ovechkin, and Malkin. Watching the Penguins and Canucks game the other night, even though Malkin may not have played a great game, I noticed him every time he was on the ice. He was controlling the puck or trying to make something happen. With Stamkos, I didn't think he was playing most of the game.

On a side note, Brad Marchand is really, really good. He could have easily had two goals tonight, and had many opportunities. Seguin is also looking a lot better.

I really like what I saw from Benoit Pouliot tonight, and I think many Bruins fans did too after tonight. He's very fast, had multiple scoring opportunities, and was very physical.

The Canucks top 6 is ridiculously slow without Kesler and Raymond in the lineup. Burrows is the only member of their top 6 that you could consider fast and I think everybody else (Sedins, Hodgson, Samuelsson and Sturm) could all be classified as average or below average in certain cases.

I was trying to figure out what looked so different about the Canucks to start the season from last year and it didn't hit me until about 10 minutes into the 2nd period of the Columbus game that they look really slow.

ALL ABOARDD!!! The Benoit Pouliot bandwagon is starting to leave the station. Get on while you can!

I haven't watched any Bruins games yet so far so I can't comment on anything he has done thus far, but I can't help to think that you sound exactly like many Habs fans did after they first acquired him from the Wild.

He had 24 points (15 goals) in the 39 games that he played for the Habs in the 2010 season and many people were saying that the Habs had found their "first line, power forward winger". Then he proceeded to completely disappear in the playoffs, posting 2 points in 18 games and the following year saw him slowly fall down the depth chart and eventually becoming a healthy scratch during the playoffs.

I hope he does well, though. Even if he is playing for the Bruins, I've always liked him and thought that he could become a very good player. He is still only 25 years old so he definitely still has room to grow. Also, if any team can get him to use his size, it is definitely the Bruins.

I don't think he'll put up great statistics this season based upon where he is in the line-up, but I like what I've seen from him. I'm going overboard saying "all aboard", but I do like what I've seen. He's been more physical than Lucic, Horton, and every other Bruins player.

Speaking of Lucic, he's becoming frustrating to watch. I don't want to knock him too much because I don't fee like eating crow if he turns it around, but he looks like absolute shit. He looked like shit after he scored his 30th goal last season as well. He is a little overhyped by many people, even though I do think he has a good skillset. He's just incredibly inconsistent which is frustrating. The Bruins first line can be dominant, or just completely invisible which is frustrating.

The Bergeron, Marchand, and Perverley (new contract today) line has been very good though.

Bob McKenzie tweeted that there is a lot of evidence suggesting the Red Wings will join the Southeast division next season.

So I guess the Wild would move to the Central and the Jets to the Northwest?

Actually, it he is making it sound like it would be a 1-for-1 trade and Winnipeg would stay in the Central. Seems kind of silly to me. Dallas and Minnesota would be way more logical for that division, I think, if the goal is to make travel as fair as possible for everyone.

I am not at all excited about DET coming east.
