Tortorella is always complaining about something.

Universe
Tortorella complaining? Color me surprised. . That guy does more whining than pretty much every coach in the NHL.Amen.  Draft lottery is this Tuesday.
Phightins
Major props for Torts for having the balls (and wallet) to say that. Whether or not it comes off as whining, that's up for interpretation, but he did not say one thing in that rant that is inaccurate. Do you have a private mic down on the ice that only you have access to? In the same week, two NHL coaches called them out for whining to the refs. Many players have done it in the past. I will take their word for it, since they and only they would know for sure..  Honestly though, the truest part of the Torts rant was about how arrogant that team is. Total hypocrites. They throw sucker punches, slashes, and dirty knee on knee hits all day long, then they (and their fans mostly) cry foul when somebody knocks Crosby down, as if they have no idea why it happened. Universe
If Torts didn't complain every single game then this rant would be relevant but every week it seems to be something.

Please. The reason "in the same weeks, tow NHL coaches called them out for whining to the refs" is because the Penguins have raped them during the most important times in recent years. The entire whining stuff about the Penguins is one the same level as the Flyers being goons today, unless you believe that to be true as well. NomarFachix
There's also a difference in a coach complaining to media after the game and two nancies complaining to the refs every shift. The Pens also likely lead the league in slew foots and knee to knee hits. Been a while since a good Torts quotable came out. He tells it like it is and I love it.

None. I am not on the ice, so I do not know one way or the other.  But since you mention "goons", I actually think that may be a better way to describe the Penguins these days... I'll admit that Malkin has that dirty side to him, and I think he'll get suspended sometime in his career for some of little dirty play, but outside of Cooke, they aren't all too dirty, unless you mean dirty by undressing teams and scoring goals. I'm picking the Flyers as of now to take the Penguins out in the first round, so I have no bias here at all. This just reeks of a team, or teams that have been badly beaten by one of their division rivals, and need something to complain about. Crosby used to complain a lot, but he doesn't complain much anymore. Built Ford Tough
Stamkos becomes the 20th player to score 60 in a season. Also, it is looking like the East playoff matches are set as Florida is up 3-0 against Carolina heading into the 3rd. Rangers/SensPens/FlyersBruins/CapsPanthers/Devils

They scare the hell out of me, they really do. I think the Bruins are the better team, but Chara is going to have to shut down Ovechkin. The Bruins pretty much owned the Senators too, so I'm mad about that. Built Ford Tough
Canucks wrap up the presidents trophy for the 2nd year in a row. Phoenix locks up the Pacific Division. LA is currently up 2-1 against SJ. Assuming that score holds up, the first round matchups will be: Nucks/SharksBlues/KingsYotes/HawksPreds/Wings Jesus, the West is going to be a war this season. DunkinDerozan
It might be a bit surprising, but I personally am absolutely pumped for the Nashville vs. Detroit matchup. Detroit is such a good team every year, and Nashville has really improved a lot from last year, and at the trade deadline they showed they're going all out for the cup this year. I'm cheering for Nashville this season.

The Senators have had the better of the Rangers this year, and Lundqvist has been a sieve lately, so we'll see if he chokes again..........(semi-choke).
