Make It Naaaashty
Wow, very unfortunate. Horrible start to the season for the Chiefs.
The Lone Granger
Wow, what a blow to the Chiefs' season. They're done now. Without their best player and playmaker, this team has nothing going for them. What a horrible blow to that team, and Charles.

fish7718
Well there goes my OTR fantasy team. Screw me.What are the chances of having Manning and Charles on the same squad? Glad I grabbed the Brady boy round 1 because idk if I could have resisted Manning on the way back around...

The Great iBoldin
YEP! My first two picks are done. If I somehow go .500 it will be a miracle. Time to scour that waiver wire like a hawk, Paul. Anyways, a terrible rash of injuries to regular contributors. Don't forget they lost emerging tight end Tony Moeaki for the year just before the year started I believe. Moeaki and Charles on the offense is hard enough, but they replaced Eric Berry with Sabby Piscatelli. That is terrible. Matt Cassel is certainly not showing to be the guy for the Chiefs, either. They'll be in contention for Andrew Luck, which may not be an entirely bad thing. But this was a team on the upswing and it's tough to lose as many good players as they did. Owner Real Deal Posted September 19, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted September 19, 2011 Matt Cassel isn't going to be the guy for anyone. He's horrible, and I hate his attitude. He was a bitch yesterday, and I realize a couple did drop his passes, but he was also throwing them behind his receivers, in nasty coverage, 3-4 yards away from receivers, etc. He's just ignorant. Wtf?? Matt Cassell is not an elite QB by any means, Look at how he did in New England. He stepped in for Tom and did nearly just as well. Matt Cassell or any QB for that matter would have a tough time playing at a high level with that atrocious Kansas City team.

He's not as good as you're advertising. Cassel doing so well in NE was a fluke, and a big thanks to the Pats, for how well their team was constructed around him. Saying he did "nearly just as well" as Tom Brady is like me saying Vince Young is "nearly just as good" as Randall Cunningham. Brady, Rodgers, Peyton, Big Ben, Rivers, Brees, Vick, Eli, Romo, Ryan, Stafford, Bradford, Flacco, Schaub, Cutler, Sanchez...all better than Cassel. I'm sure I'm missing someone. By the end of the season, people will consider Newton better.

KC might wanna look towards a new QB this off-season.
