ChosenOne Posted September 24, 2011 Report Share Posted September 24, 2011 According to team sources, Antonio Gates (foot) will not play in Week 3 against the Chiefs. The Chargers are two-touchdown favorites and this is a perfect spot to give him some rest. There have been reports that his foot could be an issue for the rest of his career, but let's wait until he misses time against a stronger opponent before sounding the alarm. Randy McMichael is the next man up and is worth a look as a TE2 play with some low-end TE1 upside, and Philip Rivers figures to be more locked onto Vincent Jackson than he was in Week 2, if that's possible.
