“Absolutely. I want to get a chance to put my helmet on whatever’s hurt,” Hall said. “Romo’s ribs—I’m going to be asking for some corner blitzes. If I know Felix Jones’(notes) shoulder’s hurt, I’m not going to cut him. I’m definitely going to try to hit him up high, so that’s just part of it.

DeAngelo <3

But seriously, just don't get burned by Dez all night, that will really upset me. He did do a solid job on Fitz last week though. I know the statline doesn't show it, but before that 70+yard TD in the fourth, Hall was keeping him in check.

Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman, who has missed the first two regular-season games with a groin injury, expects to play in Week 3.

"I'm back this week and that's all I'm gonna say," Newman tweeted late Monday night.

So down for this game tonight. A total litmus test for both teams, this is a make or break week amidst one of the greatest rivalries in the NFL. The winner of this game is for real, the Redskins on national TV winning on the road to continue an undefeated streak, the 'Boys with a battered Romo, a makeshift offensive line and a rebuilt mind on defense winning a game that they NEED to win. A couple things I'll be watching for:

- The Cowboys running game. They need a big game from the running game not only to protect Romo, but to control the line of scrimmage and put some drives together.

- Laron Landry's impact on the game.

- DeAngelo Hall, Tony Romo, Dez Bryant.

- I want to see Jason Witten have another big game and see how they use him.

- Rex Grossman's performance.

- Redskins performance on defense, especially up front and Brian Orakpo.

I have Washington in a close game, 20-16.

Missed holding calls on Trent Williams on back to back drives are troubling. I don't know if they are just being really lenient with the calls or just missing them but I thought 2 of them were pretty blatant. 1 was an inside rush by Ware williams held him till Hightower double, other was a stretch, Hatcher got held. Anyway, 3-3, disappointing first drive for us, I want more Dez!

I love how going helmet to helmet with defenseless receiver is 15 yards, but getting a running start and raping a WR jumping in the air is a good hit. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying what Landry did should be a penalty. I'm saying I love the inconsistencies of football penalties how one which is prolly less dangerous is a 15 yard penalty, the other which more, is a good hit...

Great job by Sensabaugh getting in there, blocked one in preseason, blocked one now. Very good job. I was gonna comment on how great Trent Williams was blocking Ware, then ESPN highlighted and on the next play Ware destroys Williams and Williams grabs his legs as Ware decides not to end Rex's life. :)

Laurent Robinson rapes DeAngelo Hall lol, no corner blitz's yet.

Jenkins injured again damn, Jenkins who is 2nd most improved behind Lee is really key to us because Alan Ball is absolute trash. Aside for an interception in the 9ers game he was getting WORKED, by Josh Morgan.

Ugh, this is hard to watch. Our redzone offense is horrendous, so much has gone wrong since week 1. And don't even remind me about field goal kicks, that was our second one blocked this season...

Very pissed off right now, our defense is doing everything for us, offense really needs to find its' rhythm. On a brighter note, Trent Williams has done a good job on Ware thus far, gotta keep it up though. It seems pretty clear that Dallas doesn't want Romo holding the ball long, hence all of those short passes, our D just needs to stick to the gameplan and keep Witten quiet. It's all up to our offense to win this game for us. Test that Dallas secondary and use Fred Davis more.

Can't say I'm surprised or disappointed, however, I was hoping we'd play a little better. Looks like Romo is afraid to make a play or find the open receiver because he thinks he's going to get hit and he doesn't want to get hit. The offense is def hurting from a lack of Miles Austin too. Hopefully Romo plays better this half, we could really use him.

Dallas is also pretty fortunate Romo hasn't been getting hit as much though. Haslett is bringing the pressure, but Romo is getting it out of his hands pretty quickly.
