WK3: Washington at Dallas

Real Deal

Dallas is also pretty fortunate Romo hasn't been getting hit as much though. Haslett is bringing the pressure, but Romo is getting it out of his hands pretty quickly.

I don't know what game you're watching but we are by no means 'fortunate'. A bunch of shit plays leading to long 2nd and 3rd downs, dumb penalties costing us possessions. Ogletree has made 3 terrible plays himself this game. Gotta feel that if Miles was in the game we'd have a double digit lead by now.

Missed holding calls on Trent Williams on back to back drives are troubling. I don't know if they are just being really lenient with the calls or just missing them but I thought 2 of them were pretty blatant. 1 was an inside rush by Ware williams held him till Hightower double, other was a stretch, Hatcher got held. Anyway, 3-3, disappointing first drive for us, I want more Dez!

I missed it because I was at the hockey game, but my buddy texted me something along the lines of "I guess you're allowed to tackle Ware now.."

The mental mistakes we are making at just astounding, this is not a playoff team right now, plain and simple. We need healthy players who know what the hell they are doing. Romo and Witten seem like the only 2 guys on offense who have any idea wtf is going on...

This is [expletive]ing atrocious. I'm so [expletive]ing embarrassed by this team right now, seriously wtf Ogletree, Laurent Robinson has been here for a couple weeks you've been here for a few years and he knows the playbook better than you. [expletive]ing awful.

Yeah I thought you were kind of exaggerating at first cause I wasn't watching the game but on that play alone I realized what you meant. Those receivers are playing terribly. He JUST told him the play and he can't run it right. He even yelled on the way to the LOS. Lol. Terrible.

I love how going helmet to helmet with defenseless receiver is 15 yards, but getting a running start and raping a WR jumping in the air is a good hit. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying what Landry did should be a penalty. I'm saying I love the inconsistencies of football penalties how one which is prolly less dangerous is a 15 yard penalty, the other which more, is a good hit...

[expletive]ING HILARIOUS

ROFL NFL, YOU RULE

It's not as if the call mattered, we still got the ball anyway, but how do you not make the call?

This is not on Rex, but I'll guarantee everyone will laugh at him for this. This was a game we should have easily won, no doubt about it, and it kind of does make me more confident that we're one of the better teams in the division. If Sav Rocca doesn't fumble the snap on the FG try, we win. If Haslett was smart enough to not call an all out blitz on 3rd and 21 (at least have a safety back there to help), we win. If Kyle Shanahan, who for the second week decides to stray away from the run after gaining the lead in the fourth, calls better plays, we win.

This was just pathetic, I'm just really pissed right now. We had a chance to take control of this division, and we [expletive]ing blew it.

I could not agree with you more. Washington completely gave that to Dallas. We had no business winning that game with the way we played. AL, Washington's D is for real, you guys have a shot in this division. Lost a road game in the division, no shame.

Yeah it's just upsetting losing a game like this given the circumstances. Romo beat us completely by himself. He orchestrated every drive, and did so with a lot of poise. That 3rd and 21 was killer, I'm not going to put all the blame on Hall there, but man did he get burned there. I don't expect to hear any trash talk from him for a while.. (I hope).

It's onto St. Louis next week, I expect a huge performance from this team, the offense really needs to make a statement. Thing is, we won't win this division if we lose games we're supposed to win, especially with the December schedule we have.
