The Goods
Yes! In possible fulfillment of this writer’s dream for the 2009-10 Euroleague season, Lithuania-based Basketworld.lt is today reporting that Olympiacos will be extending a contract offer to Allen Iverson. Reportedly, Olympiacos officials are ready to offer free agent Iverson a two-year, $10 million deal, “exactly the same proposal that was presented to Nate Robinson” earlier this year. With nothing else on his table, you know A.I. will be thinking about this one … Ball in Europe sure hopes so. http://www.ballineurope.com/european-basketball/euroleague/report-olympiacos-to-offer-allen-iverson-10-million/

billt chamberlain
i don't know much about euro ball, but isn't this olympiacos team like the lakers of euro ball? if so, than that gives iverson a good chance to add something else to his career. i don't think it would be a bad idea for him to go overseas and win a ring. he's not going to win one this season, so he might as well pick up a bit of money and keep his fanbase growing overseas. hey maybe in a few years he can come back to the nba and suit up for a contender. Sun Tzu
I wonder if AI is going to go for it. If he goes though, I have a feeling he wont be coming back, he will probably retire after his contract finishes in Europe.
andreusito
He'd pull a Pistons. In euro basketball there's no stars, no scoring options, everybody is equal. That also means he'll play about 25 a night max, which isn't enough for him.

Dr. Feelgood
At this point in his career, I think it'd be a good opportunity for him.
